Adam West has been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 83-year-old became a television icon in 1965 when he starred as Batman in the ABC TV series.
He currently stars as a fictionalised version of himself in Fox animation Family Guy.
West was joined by Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane as he was given the 2,468th star on Thursday (April 5).
“I’m not sure, but I think I have the record as the actor who has waited the longest to get his star on the sidewalk,” he said at the ceremony.
McFarlane added: “It is my hope, that at age 110, I will see you at Family Guy conventions signing autographs for a whole new generation of loners and psychopaths.”
West is rumoured to have filmed a cameo appearance in The Dark Knight Rises.
