When was the last time you rented a DVD? Was it that long ago that it was actually a VHS Video? More than likely it was from Blockbuster or maybe even a local Video Rental store. But those days are long gone and with the advent of online streaming, Satellite and Cable TV they have killed off all the DVD rental stores.
But there are still two dedicated DVD Rental Stores that are still trading today in the UK.
In this episode we have a very special guest on the show. Dave Wain is the owner of Snips DVD Rental store in the North West of England and he explains to us why there are only two left in the country and tells us why he feels the need to keep going.
With over 13,000 films in his store dating from 1915 to present day it is one of the most extensive collections in the UK if not the world. If you live in the are of the Wirral in the North West of the UK then it is worth popping in and having a look.
