This week the Modern Musicology gang have a chin wag with Stephanie Seymour — singer, songwriter, solo artist, former drummer of the Aquanettas! We chat about her career at record labels, her crazy stories with David Bowie, Gina Schock of the Go-Go’s, the Pogues and Peter Buck of REM; her time with the Aquanettas, and life as an independent solo artist! Our topics range from the more heavy side of the struggles of being a woman in the industry (especially back in those crazy ’80s and ’90s) to some lighthearted hilarious memories and stories to creating music now and being an older independent artist. ENJOY! Join our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ModernMusicology
