“Now and Then”
We’re at a moment in history — the release of “Now and Then”, the very last new recording by the greatest rock band in history, The Beatles. We’re joined by Ira Elliot, the drummer of Nada Surf and the Beatles tribute band Bambi Kino, to analyze this old/new track and the “long and winding road” it took to see fruition. We talk about the song itself, the music video, the making-of documentary, the technology that made this recording possible, the new editions of the Red and Blue compilations, and the emotional impact of hearing John’s voice on a new record.
We’d love to hear your impressions of “Now and Then” and/or about our review of it. Please do get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a comment wherever you find our episode and let us know! And don’t forget to rate us on your favorite podcast app!
