‘John Carter Of Mars’ Will Be A ‘Historically Accurate Martian Film,’ Says Director Andrew Stanton

John Carter is going to be historical acurate.. HUH!!?

Andrew Stanton, the director of Pixar’s WALL-E, Finding Nemo and A Bug’s Life, is getting out of the animation studio and working on his first live-action movie, the upcoming John Carter of Mars. And he’s taking his job seriously. Almost too seriously.

When asked about the look of the movie, he told MTV, “I really tried to make it its own thing. I really tried to make a very historically accurate Martian film, if that makes sense.” HUH?!?!
