In the first episode of ‘The Burlesque Atlanta Podcast’, A state of the Burlesque Atlanta Union is made in the Autumn Equinox key note speech with Talloolah Love and Ursula Undress from the November #BAS meeting. Talloolah Love talks about the need for prioritizing positivity in the local scene, and Ursula Undress talks about the need for education and community. Ada Manzhart describes her peer review experience, and makes a huge announcement for the return of Doctor Sketchy’s in Atlanta. Talloolah gathers the men’s perspective of Atlanta Burlesque from DJ Doctor Q, and then saves the best for last as she talks with Torchy about the history behind the neo burlesque movement throughout the country with a focus on Atlanta in particular. Big thanks to Elliott Street Pub, Marc Turnley, Frenchy and the Punk, and the ESO Network!
