Hey, if you can’t get Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell back on the tube together, you mind as well get a decent facsimile in a TV show based on the movie “Source Code”. It’s essentially the same premise, right? Guy jumps back in time into the body of someone and has to solve a problem. In this case, it’ll probably be murders, robberies, nuclear attacks, etc, but it’s still essentially the same idea.
Anyways, a TV version of the Duncan Jones movie “Source Code” is headed to CBS courtesy of the film’s producers. The network TV version will follow “three former federal agents who are part of a top-secret program. Each week, they’ll use “Source Code” technology to jump into the consciousness of people involved in tragic events.”
THR says that’s like the movie, but, um, it’s not. There were two military types and one scientist asshole in the movie, not three “federal agents”. Nitpick, I know, but I guess this will work, too.
Now if only one of the federal agents happens to be named Ziggy…
