Actor Jason Patric is in negotiations to play the lead on FX’s adaptation of “Powers,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. The trade paper describes the role of Christian Walker as “a cop who works in the Powers division of the police force and deals with crimes involving those endowed with special abilities.” Readers of the comic book series from Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming know that description only touches on the character’s history and talents.
