Written by Diablo Cody. Directed by Karyn Kusama. Starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried. Marketed to the absolute wrong audience and dismissed by critics who never understood what they were watching. Tea & Karen are diving deep into Jennifer’s Body, with our friend BellaRose. The 2009 feminist horror classic that Hollywood failed, audiences reclaimed, and horror fans have been obsessing over ever since. We cover the catastrophic marketing disaster, Megan Fox’s career defining performance, the sharp feminist subtext that went over everyone’s heads in 2009, and why it took the world over a decade to finally give this film the flowers it deserved.Â
