We’re watching Star Trek: Enterprise Season 2, Episode 23 “Regeneration,” but only Bill has actually watched the episode. Plus, we’ve got the Bad Astronomer himself, Phil Plait, joining us this week to talk about this episode and his personal connection to it.
This week Enterprise breaks new and innovative ground in the canon of Staaaaaahp — just kidding, it’s the Borg. Scientists discover the shattered remains of Star Trek: First Contact in the Arctic Circle and decide to desecrate some corpses. Of course, the revived Borg decide to escape on a route that takes them right into the path of the NX-01! Will the crew escape assimilation? And more importantly, will they remember to write any of this down for future generations?
