The Monster Scifi Show – Scifi News for 10/09/2020
Here’s another stellar podcast for this week in Scifi News.
It’s Scifi from a certain point of view.
But wait, there’s more… We have two new bi-monthly podcast series: Re/watch and Versus
The Re/watch podcast deals with me looking back at a movie that I hated at first viewing. The goal is to do research about the production and get behind the scenes information about the movie and then to re/watch it with fresh new eyes. With analyses of my brilliant and superior mind, I will answer this simple question, can you re/watch this movie again?
With Versus, the premise is to talk about and compared the original movie or work versus the remake or updated version. Does the original work still work today? Does the remake outshine the original? I’ll compare the directors, the actors, the stories, and the music. Which movie will reign supreme!!!

Mr. Gene and I are reviewing all the movies we saw for 2019; although some spilled over into 2020.
Honestly, I didn’t think I would be doing a review of Star Trek Picard’s first season let alone a single episode. Yet, here we are. I recorded my thoughts about the series and about Star Trek overall.
Star Trek Picard has finally arrived back on the airwaves-ish. Does this latest Star Trek series live up to the Roddenberry ideals of the past or forge a new and bold direction?
After a long hiatus, we are back to give a review of Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker. Yes, the dead speak but what did they think about the last movie in the Skywalker saga? Who cares? They’re dead.
