Next week, the ESO crew looks to the future as we peel back the various predictions of life in the Future According to Sci-Fi. Science Fiction books, movies, and TV shows have given us many glimpses of what life might be like in the future. Some of it is hopeful, ala Star Trek’s various TV series while others paint a bleaker image ala Terminator and there are also those that show that people, whether they live on Earth or out in space, are still people ala Babylon 5. Whatever fictional future you like best, ESO is looking forward to visiting it next week.
