For Doctor Who fans, the episode “Shada” piques geek curiosity like nothing else: it was meant to be an episode starring the much-loved fourth Doctor, Tom Baker, and written by the phenomenal Douglas Adams … but was never aired because a BBC strike killed the production. Now our curiosity will be satisfied by current Doctor Who writer, Gareth Roberts.
Roberts, who has written several Doctor Who episodes, including “The Shakespeare Code,” and “The Lodger,” as well as episodes for The Sarah Jane Adventures, will be turning “Shada” into a novel.
